We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to Perth Mint visitors and clients while ensuring utmost professionalism in carrying out shop duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop full knowledge of the shop's varied product range
  • Handle enquiries and sales in the shop, over the phone and email
  • Follow procedures while processing sales through POS
  • Assist with removing high-valued stock in the evenings and placing it back on display in the morning
  • Assist with stocktakes and maintain stock in the storeroom as required
  • Assist with creating visual merchandising of display cabinets and restock and maintain displays according to merchandising brief
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Weekend duties, balancing of tills before shop start and preparation of shop banking and eftpos reconciliation
  • Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated customer service and sales experience
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Thrives working in a team and collaborative environment
