Education and Training Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced Education and Training Developer to join our team in a key role that will shape the future of our glass manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, coordinating, and managing all training programs related to the opening of our new glass plant.

As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored training experiences that support the plant's startup phase and set the stage for long-term success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify training needs, gaps in current materials, and training tools available, focusing on the specific requirements of the new plant training program.
- Creating and delivering tailored training programs that address both mechanical and technological competencies in glass manufacturing, utilizing a blend of virtual technology, demonstration machines, and hands-on training.
- Designing and developing new Glass Training Program modules and content, drawing on current program material available.
- Developing the New Hire training schedule, mapping out the pathway for the first 6 months of new hires joining the new Glass plant.
- Working closely with stakeholders to align training goals with production needs and ensure seamless coordination.
- E nsuring all legislative training requirements are met.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in a similar education and training development role, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings, with expertise in large-scale training program management.
- Ability to assess and maintain training IT systems/platforms.
- Proficiency with virtual training tools and the ability to manage in-person training on both demo machines and live equipment.
- Strong capability to manage projects and deliver results on time.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work across departments and with various stakeholders.
- Certification in Training and Assessment would be highly regarded.
