**Senior Aged Care Clinician Opportunity**

A challenging and rewarding role has become available at our residential aged care service, located in the picturesque Granite Belt region. As a senior clinician, you will lead and mentor a team of experienced nurses, working closely with the Service Manager to foster a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and promote consultative and collaborative approaches to resident care planning and quality management activities;
  • Review and submit accurate Aged Care Funding Instrument data;
  • Monitor and review nursing practice procedures and clinical programs and initiatives;
  • Oversee and report on resident/client documentation, ensuring adherence to electronic documentation and organisational requirements;
  • Coordinate and monitor delivery of clinical care by direct care staff, adhering to standards of practice and professional guidelines.

What We're Looking For

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA);
  • Experience managing and leading clinical care teams in aged care;
  • 5+ years post-graduate experience in aged care or acute care clinical settings;
  • Strong knowledge of the aged care accreditation system and compliance requirements;
  • Demonstrated expertise in AN-ACC principles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to educate, motivate and mentor staff members.
