The Puppy Development Advisor role plays a crucial part in nurturing young puppies through socialization and basic obedience training.

This permanent part-time position involves working closely with trainers, volunteers, and support staff to shape the future of guide dogs.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of puppy raisers, conducting assessments and reviews, and making recommendations on puppy suitability for the Guide Dog Program.

Key qualifications and skills required include relevant dog training experience, solid understanding of dog learning principles, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to positive reinforcement methodology.
