We're looking for an experienced Risk Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and governance practices.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients across various sectors, including health services, not-for-profit, corporate, financial services, and local government.

  1. Develop risk-based internal audit plans that align with client objectives.
  2. Execute internal audit procedures, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope, timeframe, and budget.
  3. Participate in project planning and scoping to ensure audit activities meet client needs.
  4. Provide guidance on internal audit methodologies, techniques, and best practices to stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with clients to ensure audit activities align with their goals and objectives.
  6. Prepare internal audit reports, including findings, risk, root cause, and recommendations.
  7. Contribute to risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and provide strategic advice to clients.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, process improvement, and governance practices.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience writing reports, observations, and communicating results to varied audiences.
  • A commitment to enhancing team capabilities through guidance and support.
  • An Accounting degree or financial background (desired but not essential).
