Estimator Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled estimator to join our bidding team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and reliable estimates in accordance with our company procedures.
  • This includes reviewing requests for proposals and tenders, contributing to efficient and cost-effective pricing, and developing and implementing estimates to assist with planning, coordinating, and scheduling.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure alignment of estimate, methodology, and schedule.
About the Job

As an SMP Estimator, you will work closely with our business unit manager to prepare bids that meet client requirements and deadlines.

  • Reviewing tender documentation to determine scope and specific terms and conditions is a key aspect of this role.
  • Interpreting and evaluating drawings to identify direct and indirect estimates, including allowances for risk and contingency, is also crucial.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing accurate and reliable estimates
  • Contributing to efficient and cost-effective pricing
  • Developing and implementing estimates to assist with planning, coordinating, and scheduling
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of estimate, methodology, and schedule
  • Ensuring relevant documents, deliverables, and reports are submitted within the bid deadline
Requirements
