We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Shelter Program Manager to join our team at Our Place Society. As a key member of our housing operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and support to staff and residents, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere, responding promptly to medical emergencies and incidents.
- Develop and implement resident support plans, working closely with the site supervisor and support team.
- Perform wellness checks and provide assistance with daily living tasks as needed.
- Assist with laundry and maintenance duties, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the shelter.
- Diploma in a related human or social services field.
- Minimum two years recent experience in a similar role, preferably in a social services setting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
