We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will have expertise in applied pharmacy practice and the ability to teach undergraduate and foundation programmes.
The role involves planning, developing and delivering high-quality teaching and assessments in collaboration with a team of academics. You will contribute to creating a vibrant education environment that translates into real-world skills for our students.
The ideal candidate will have an MPharm degree or equivalent, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and have recent experience within one or multiple sectors of UK pharmacy or medical practice. A qualified independent prescriber is also essential.
The selected candidate will play a key role in calculation teaching and assessment, support experiential learning, and supervise undergraduate research projects. Additionally, you will engage with diverse students to motivate and inspire them to perform at their best.
The Faculty
School of Life Sciences, Pharmacy and Chemistry focuses on employability, practical skills, and life skills. Our school provides access to ultra-modern equipment and teaching facilities in areas such as biochemistry, biotechnology, cell and molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, nutrition, pharmacology, sport science, chemical synthesis and analysis, pharmaceutics, specialist labs for pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical science and chemistry.
