Safety and Security Specialist

Utilize your customer service and security expertise to ensure the safety of students, staff, and campus visitors at a leading university in Sydney.
About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced security professional to join our team and provide high-quality services to our stakeholders.
This role involves patrolling the campus, operating the control room, and performing concierge duties.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, direction, and information to students, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols to protect physical assets and maintain public safety.
- Monitor and guide behavior in all areas of the campus.
- Observe facilities to minimize risks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare accurate security records and reports as required.
- Operate the control room and respond to emergencies.
- Provide reception and concierge services to visitors.
- NSW Security Licence 1A
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule across 7 days.
- Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (current or willing to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Exceptional personal presentation and reliability.
