A talented Content Producer is sought to join our team in Cairns, producing and presenting compelling stories across multiple platforms.
This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $77K - $94,622K plus 15.4% nominated superannuation.
The successful candidate will prepare distinctive and engaging content for local audiences, including Q&As, packages, scripts, interviews, and breaking news, as well as present local programs as required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and produce original audio and cross-platform content for target audiences
- Provide in-studio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests
- Create local content that can be shared with other content teams across the ABC
- Cross-promote other ABC content to increase audience engagement
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Accomplished editorial skills, including the ability to source and analyze information and exercise sound judgment
- Demonstrated understanding and passion to source and create authentic content representing the broad diversity of the Australian community
- Possession of a current and valid Driver's Licence
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to various locations
- 15.4% ABC Nominated superannuation
