Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights driving business performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned business units
  • Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive results
  • Develop and present business cases for new initiatives and investments
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against targets, recommending corrective actions as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline (Finance, Economics, Accounting)
  • CPA/CA qualified
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar finance role delivering analysis, insights, and financial support across diverse business environments and teams
  • Post Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly desirable)
  • Deep knowledge of the payments technology, IT systems, and the financial industry
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks as they relate to finance matters
  • Experience in people management preferred
