About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Leader to join our Victorian projects team. As a Commercial Leader, you will be part of an innovative organization with exciting infrastructure projects on the horizon. This is an opportunity to join a people-centric, privately owned Tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise that offers a unique blend of stability and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the requirements of the Commercial function, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.
- Optimize margin while protecting the business from commercial risk, leveraging your expertise to drive financial performance.
- Lead commercial teams on all projects, fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Work closely with General Managers, Heads of Commercial, and Project Leaders to provide strategic commercial support across all aspects of our operations.
About You
- 10+ years of post-graduate experience in contract administration or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- A quantity surveying background is highly desirable, with MRICS certification a significant advantage.
- Transport or infrastructure experience is essential, with a deep understanding of contract management principles and practices.
- You will possess comprehensive knowledge of program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
