Occupational Therapy Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Canberra area.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to enhance the independence, health and wellbeing of older Australians – while enjoying flexibility, support, and a great environment.

About The Role
  • To deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care.
  • To help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility and confidence to remain living at home.
  • To collaborate with a multidisciplinary team guided by our approach to empower clients to live their best possible lives at home.
Your Qualifications And Experience
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess OT needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community.
  • Postgraduate experience across various aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.
  • Alignment with our values and mission.
  • A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • An unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage insurance.
