About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a renewed team responsible for scoping, design, community engagement and implementation oversight for a range of projects across the region.

The team collaborates with various stakeholders including municipal strategy, statutory planning, community facilities, asset management and more.

  • Support project leads in delivering projects, presentations, research, community consultation and more as required.
  • Coordinate open space and recreation planning projects from inception through to development approval.
  • Provide oversight and support to project managers during tender and construction phases.
  • Develop and implement policies and strategies to support provision of programs and assets improving population health and quality of life outcomes.
  • Engage with project stakeholders including Councillors, Executive Management Team, Council Officers, government authorities, non-government organisations and the public.
  • Advocate for open space and recreation objectives and outcomes.
