About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electrician to join our team at Oilandgas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on high voltage electrical equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve electrical issues and ensure minimal downtime
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to optimize system performance
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements
  • Electrical Trade Qualification with proven maintenance experience in heavy industry
  • Previous leadership experience as a supervisor or team leader
  • Ability to read and interpret markup drawings and diagrams
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems
  • Previous HV/LV distribution experience
  • Extensive knowledge of HV operations infrastructure and fault finding
  • Good knowledge of HV/LV switching systems
  • Demonstrated experience writing Switching and access permits
  • Experience with MS office and SAP
  • Good time management skills
  • Electrical grade A license
  • High Voltage Switching certificate
  • Low voltage rescue and CPR
  • Relevant OEM Training
  • Current (3 years from date of issue) necessary tickets and licenses
