Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to start your aged care career and gain valuable experience working with the elderly. You will be part of a supportive team, working together to provide high-quality care and services.

  • Assist elderly residents with daily lifestyle and activities
  • Work in a residential aged care setting
  • Be part of a growing industry

As a Trainee Aged Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a mentor, who will support and guide you throughout your training. You will also receive ongoing support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and other experts in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
  • Bed making, room tidying up
  • Feeding
  • The setting of tables and meals for residents
  • Social / Activities

Requirements:
  • A great attitude

  • Willingness to learn and work
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Must reside in Australia
  • Regular availability to work AM shift 6:30am to 2:30pm, PM 2:30pm to 10:00pm, and to attend training 9:30am to 4:30pm
