About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Gippsland Radiation Oncology (GRO) in Traralgon, Latrobe Valley. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for performing routine radiation treatment planning and treatment delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage allocated workload efficiently and effectively, with some senior assistance for complex planning, treatment, or problem-solving situations
- Engage with continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest radiation therapy practices
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve excellent treatment outcomes
- Contribute to a culture of quality and safety, with a focus on patient-centered care
Requirements
- General skills and knowledge base in radiation therapy practice, commensurate with entry-level qualifications at degree or master's level
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
