About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse with aged care experience to join our Residential Funding Team on a permanent full-time basis. As a Funding Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring funding is optimised for all new and existing residents in our residential care homes.

You will report to the Funding Manager and work across several residential care homes in the Greater Sydney area to identify potential subsidy increases, prepare funding-related documentation, perform documentation audits, and provide support during AN-ACC assessment visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend resident assessments and conduct case conferences with key staff at allocated residential homes.
  • Review and update documentation in Clinical Manager.
  • Submit requests for reassessment in consultation with senior staff.
  • Provide direction and advice to senior staff on AN-ACC, funding, and care minute related matters.
  • Assist AN-ACC assessors during assessment visits to ensure a smooth process.
  • Provide AN-ACC training to staff.
  • Audit outcomes and submit requests for reconsideration where appropriate.
  • Undertake other operational funding-related tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CURRENT AHPRA Nursing Registration with a minimum of 12 months experience in aged care.
  • Current knowledge of AN-ACC, care minutes, and related legislation, including the new Aged Care Act.
  • Excellent documentation and clinical reasoning skills.
  • A current driver's licence and ability to travel across Anglicare's residential homes.
  • Alignment to Anglicare's Christian values, vision, and mission in developing person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication skills with a personable and professional approach when interacting with clients, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is around $65,000 - $85,000 AUD, depending on your level of experience.
