About this Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to develop and implement strategic sourcing, category management, and supply management strategies that deliver best value outcomes for our clients.

This role offers the chance to work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, playing a core role in sourcing activities while supporting our bid and sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD at least 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and execute category plans, strategies, and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations
  2. Present sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
  3. Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across our diverse client base
  4. Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations
  5. Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery
  6. Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions
  7. Provide advice to key stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy
  8. Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, client satisfaction, value, and cost
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation
  • Work experience with exposure to IFM (integrated facilities management) principles and/or experience will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels
  • Experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies, and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
