Role Overview:

Ventia is seeking a skilled Rig Mechanic to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing rig equipment, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability. You will report directly to the Mechanical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager, collaborating with operations and field staff to ensure the seamless operation of our rig fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair rig equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with operations and field staff to ensure the seamless operation of our rig fleet.
  • Report directly to the Mechanical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager.

About You:

  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with relevant experience in the oil and gas sector (preferable).
  • Proven ability to fault-find and troubleshoot under pressure.
  • Point of hire: Toowoomba.
  • Proficient in using computers for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Valid Open Manual Driver's Licence or higher.
