About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team at The Royal Children's Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical services to paediatric inpatients and outpatients with swallowing and/or communication difficulties.

With a designated workload and clinical areas, you will have the flexibility to work effectively and flexibly within teams, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills. Your attention to detail and commitment to staying up-to-date with evidence-based practice will enable you to provide timely, well-written reports and effective verbal feedback to referrers, patients, families, and teams.

About the Team

Our Speech Pathology Department provides services to both inpatient and outpatient paediatric populations, including eating, drinking, and swallowing, speech, language, voice, cleft palate, and tracheostomy. We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and their families, and we are seeking a motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team.

What you'll achieve:
  • Provide high-quality clinical speech pathology services to in/outpatients at The Royal Children's Hospital.
  • Demonstrate evidence-based practice and a commitment to staying up-to-date.
  • Work effectively and flexibly within teams, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prepare timely, well-written reports and provide effective verbal feedback to referrers, patients, families, and teams.
  • Act in a professional and ethical manner.
