Airline Performance Expert

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional employee experiences within our airports. This involves leading and implementing people and operational initiatives that drive safety, succession planning, productivity and a high-performance culture amongst our teams.

  • Design and implement strategies to boost employee engagement based on feedback from our employee engagement surveys.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new starters at our airports.
  • Coach and mentor frontline employees to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Hold regular performance reviews with team members to provide coaching, support and guidance on individual performance and motivation.
  • Ensure employee matters are handled effectively and in a timely manner, escalating issues to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
  • Lead, coach and support all team members, identifying and nurturing talent development opportunities.
  • Implement plans to stretch, expose and challenge team members to motivate them to achieve excellence.
  • Support our leadership team in implementing a culture of safety, service and operational excellence across our airports.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience leading and managing large-scale teams in an operational environment.
  • Extensive experience in performance management and case management.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of our organisation.
  • A proven track record of driving business performance through strategic and tactical planning.
  • Experience developing, fostering and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships at leadership levels.
  • Pragmatic with a strong understanding of commercial and business requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, organisational and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
