Job Title:

Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Professional

About the Role:

This senior-level position is designed for experienced professionals seeking a challenging opportunity to lead complex mergers and acquisitions transactions.

  • Manage buy-side and sell-side due diligence transactions from data book construction through to transaction closure.
  • Originate and execute M&A transactions, ensuring timely completion and optimal results.
  • Assist in transaction negotiations and legal documentation, leveraging expertise to drive successful outcomes.
  • Provide independent advice to clients, drawing on extensive industry knowledge.
  • Lead project teams and manage local teams, fostering collaboration and driving growth.
  • Develop junior team members in financial analysis, transaction scenarios, and research.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, including Legal, Accountants, Private Equity, Funds, and Investment Bankers.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A, or Corporate Advisory.
  • Experience across all aspects of the transaction/investment process.
  • Proven deal origination and post-deal management skills, including drafting initial pitches and evaluating proposals.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, e.g., Modano.
  • A high level of accuracy when completing work.
  • An inquisitive mind and real commercial acumen.
  • The ability to express complex issues in a simple, logical manner.
  • A bright and energetic personality, possessing the ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present clearly in presentations or pitches to senior-level stakeholders.
