Aged Care Support Worker Kilsyth Opportunity

At MiCare, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Personal Care Assistant to join our team at our Residential Aged Care Facilities in Kilsyth.
About the RoleWe are looking for a caring and patient individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care to our valuable elders. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily care needs, completing vital documentation, and being a strong contributor to our passionate team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our elders and their families, delivering exceptional care that exceeds their expectations. You will also be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, respect, and compassion.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also require a minimum Cert III (Aged Care) qualification, with Cert IV (Aged Care) highly advantageous but not essential.
You will be working in a multicultural environment, and therefore, the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures would be highly regarded. Additionally, you must be able to speak/learn Dutch and have an understanding of the Dutch culture and history.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base hourly rate of $30.88-$32.68 per hour, 11.5% superannuation, and not-for-profit packaging. You will also receive paid training and support for career progression, as well as access to our Employee Assistance program and Employee wellness portal.
