About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Engineer to join our team in Parramatta. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and improving security tools within our organisation.

This is a permanent opportunity with flexible working arrangements and the potential for remote working for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the security of our computer systems within the Information Security domain.
  • Review configurations and suggest improvements to strengthen security controls.
  • Proactively and reactively mitigate IT security threats.
  • Use available security controls and processes to identify, mitigate, and remediate threats to our computer environment.
About You
  • You are a self-motivated and people-focused engineer with a strong infrastructure background.
  • You have experience implementing new security tools and improving existing ones.
  • You have 3-5 years' experience in a security analyst or security engineer role, with a strong focus on cloud technologies and platforms, particularly Azure.
  • You have experience performing forensic examinations of Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, DNS, DHCP, and Network Traffic.
