Senior Work Health and Safety Professional

Reporting to the Director, Safety and Wellbeing, this role is responsible for supporting the administration and implementation of our corporate work health and safety management system.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver wellbeing programs and promote psychosocial safety in the workplace.
- Investigate non-operational safety incidents, create and update policies and procedures, support WHS training, and coordinate WHS Committees and the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) network.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the ACT Public Service maintains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in work health and safety and/or risk management (Cert IV, Diploma)
- Completed ICAM training
- Internal Auditor Training (ISO 19011:2018)
- Driver licence

Salary and Employment ConditionsWe offer a competitive salary range of $124,181 - $147,322 per annum, plus superannuation. As a permanent full-time employee, you will receive a range of benefits including annual leave, sick leave, and other entitlements.
