The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our high-performing team at Veolia. As a key member of our Health and Safety function, you will provide expert advice and guidance to operational management to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Conducting inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
* Investigating incidents and reporting on findings
* Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
* Providing training and guidance to personnel on health and safety best practices
* Collaborating with leadership teams to champion a strong safety culture

What you'll need to be successful:

* Formal qualification in WHS (Cert 4 or greater) and demonstrable industry experience
* Qualification in incident investigation (ICAM or relevant experience)
* Effective influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation
* Working knowledge and understanding of relevant WHS legislation
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
