Job Opportunity

A Mechanical Systems Specialist is sought to support the design and evaluation of mechanical systems and equipment. The role involves leading modifications, supporting cost estimates, and collaborating with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Support field investigations, client discussions, and technical input during equipment procurement.
  • Prepare designs, drawings, reports, and proposals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and work closely with other engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years' experience in mining/mechanical engineering or 12-14 years without a degree.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, systems, and materials handling equipment.
  • Experience with copper projects and slurry pumping systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD (2D/3D) design tools and industry codes, standards, and construction practices.
Preferred Skills:
  • CAD (2D/3D) design expertise.
  • Understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction practices.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
