About the Role:
Provide legal advice and conduct contract negotiations on a wide range of commercial matters, applying your knowledge of business and commerce.
Advise clients on legislative and regulatory requirements impacting their operations, including real estate, M&A, privacy, consumer and commercial law.
Assist in developing and implementing policies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents such as agreements and tenders, utilizing your analytical skills and attention to detail.
Assess risks and propose effective solutions, demonstrating your ability to think critically and creatively.
Collaborate closely with the Legal team and other business units to drive results and achieve goals.
Take advantage of mentorship opportunities from senior lawyers and the Head of Legal, Pacific Advisory.
About You:
Hold a law degree and be admitted as a lawyer in Australia, with a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience.
Possess a practical and commercially focused mindset, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks.
Have excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
Be proactive, responsive, and dedicated to providing exceptional service, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
Have a genuine interest in commercial law, with some property law exposure being an asset.
