Tesla is now hiring Apprentice Vehicle Technicians for its 2026 intake. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the fast-growing world of electric vehicle (EV) servicing and undergo comprehensive training.
You'll work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience with Tesla's cutting-edge electric vehicles, tools, diagnostics software, and service systems.
Job Description:As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will support the Service Team to deliver an outstanding customer experience by performing basic vehicle servicing, inspections, and maintenance under supervision.
Key responsibilities include learning to use diagnostics tools and automotive software systems, undertaking a nationally recognised Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology, and completing Tesla specific training through our global learning platform.
You'll also be responsible for maintaining the workshop, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and assisting in daily operations.
Requirements:- Completed Year 12 education
- Full Australian work rights
- Eligible to enrol with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
- A valid driver's licence
- Passion for automotive technology, mechanics, and electric vehicles
- Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude, and willingness to learn
- Hands on technical skills with Tesla electric vehicles
- Mentorship from experienced Tesla technicians and industry leaders
- Formal qualification: Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
