Job Description
This is a Retail Sales Leader position, responsible for driving operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom. The ideal candidate will assist in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experience for customers. Key responsibilities include assisting in developing and motivating associates, providing in-the-moment coaching/training, partnering with Store Management, and executing action plans that optimize results. The position also requires building an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time and promoting an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.
  1. Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
  2. Provide in-the-moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards.
  3. Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
  4. Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures.
  5. Execute action plans that optimize results.
  6. Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
  7. Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
  8. Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations, in the store.
  9. Monitor and analyze the customer service provided by team members.
  10. Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time.
  11. Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.

Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience, proficiency in technology (iPad, registers), and meeting defined availability criteria. The ideal candidate should also meet physical requirements and be able to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once. Additionally, previous retail experience is preferred, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors is essential. Demonstrated sales accountability, collaborative skills, and the ability to work well with a team are also required.
