About the Role

**Country Style Magazine** is a leading homes and lifestyle brand in Australia, renowned for its stunning photography and authentic storytelling. As the **Creative Director**, you will be responsible for maintaining the magazine's exceptional aesthetic and visual direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create beautiful, aspirational pages that enhance the visual direction of Country Style magazine.
  • Set the brand style and aesthetic expectations for Country Style and collaborate with the editorial team to achieve these goals.
  • Work with the Editor and editorial team to design outstanding layouts that maintain the unique look and feel of Country Style.
  • Conduct visual research and collaborate with photographers and stylists on house, people, and decorating shoots.
  • Commission and organize cover and photo shoots to showcase the magazine's visual excellence.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications as a graphic designer and at least 10 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Previous employment as a creative director or senior art director on a magazine, with a strong understanding of magazine production.
  • Digital experience is essential to guide Country Style into a strong omnichannel brand.
