Maritime Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage Governance and Assurance activities on tasked services and contractor deliverables.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional maritime operations through quality assurance management.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and experience working with computerised maintenance management systems.
The Technical Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seaworthiness of Royal Australian Navy vessels by developing and maintaining an annual audit plan for contractor deliverables.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain a Regional Maintenance Centre West Continuous Improvement Program based on ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on technical Contract Data Requirements Lists submitted by contractors, as well as managing audits on planning, execution and close out of maintenance tasks.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for managing governance and assurance activities on tasked services and contractor deliverables.
Requirements for the Technical Quality Assurance Manager- Strong background in quality assurance and maritime operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with computerised maintenance management systems
