Role Overview:

The Clinical Nurse Educator will play a key role in advancing the knowledge and skills of our nursing staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care in palliative medicine.

This position is responsible for developing and delivering education programs that meet the needs of our staff, as well as providing clinical expertise and guidance to support their practice.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and deliver education programs for nursing staff
  • Conduct clinical skill assessments and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with the education team to develop and implement education strategies
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to palliative care

Essential Requirements:

  • POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATION IN CLINICAL TEACHING AND/OR EDUCATION, OR EQUIVALENT
  • CERT IV IN TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT (CURRENT)
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO WORK IN A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM ENVIRONMENT
