About the Position:
- We are looking for an experienced mixed animal veterinarian to join our team.
- You will treat companion animals as well as sheep, goats, cattle, horses, alpacas, and pigs, with a mix of approximately 80% small animal and 20% large animal.
- There is scope to grow our equine client base if you have an interest in this area.
- This is a maternity leave cover, potentially fixed-term or ongoing.
- We ideally seek a full-time veterinarian but can discuss part-time options.
- Shared after-hours duties include one night per week and one weekend every four weeks, with a light on-call caseload and support from our VetTriage team.
- All clinic duties are shared equally among the team, promoting great teamwork and a supportive environment.
About You:
- You should be a vet comfortable with general practice, handling vaccinations, complex case workups, and routine surgery.
- An experienced mixed animal vet with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards patient care and client experience.
- You should enjoy mentorship and working within a collaborative team.
We offer a competitive salary package with a base salary range of $120,000-$140,000 depending on experience.
