Account Manager Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable sales volume with assigned accounts, while fostering meaningful relationships and strategically expanding Interface's market presence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Account Manager to join our QLD team and contribute to achieving profit targets. As a key representative of Interface, you will negotiate impactful sales, collaborate with a supportive team, and directly influence our success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts
  • Identify opportunities for new accounts and expand Interface's market presence
  • Cultivate key buying influences within each project and identify product and service opportunities
  • Maintain accurate information in internal CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process
  • Timely and accurate use of the CRM, meeting agreed KPIs
  • Attend industry functions to develop broad market awareness and network with external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain an account map of all identified accounts
  • Develop territory and customer visit plan
  • Co-ordinate company personnel involvement to meet customer expectations
  • Produces annual plan for product/service review of each client
  • Demonstrate safe working behaviours
  • Extensive local, interstate, and overnight travel required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Account Management/B2B Sales experience in the construction industry essential
  • Industry or associated industry knowledge
  • Capable of working professionally under pressure in competitive situations
  • A current driver's licence
  • An understanding of financial aspects of the business
  • Formal qualifications in sales and/or marketing or relevant field highly regarded
