Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, with experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ledgers, and other financial records.

This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, as well as providing support to customers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers, setting up NetSuite accounts, reviewing and classifying transactions, and reconciling bank statements and loan management systems.

The Financial Accountant will also identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency. This may involve working on ad hoc projects and providing support as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a university degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance, and hold a CPA or CA qualification. You will also need to have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services sector, or within a Big 4 accounting firm.

A high level of proficiency in Excel is essential for success in this role, while experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
