National Inventory Manager Job Description

The Role:

The National Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our inventory management strategies on a national scale. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Inventory Specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on achieving inventory accuracy and efficiency goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management acquired within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting an SAP implementation for inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices in supply chain management and inventory control.
