General Practitioner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team at our busy medical practice in Menai, NSW. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work part-time considered. You will be working in a bulk billing practice with a large and diverse patient base, with access to MD/PracSoft practice software for efficient management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and allied health staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.
Requirements
  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Vocational registration.
  • FRACGP or FACRRM qualification.
  • Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number and claim MBS items.

We offer a competitive billing percentage shared with GPs (70%), access to MD/PracSoft practice software, and the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment. We also offer consideration for a 6-month locum GP position and a negotiable initial retainer.
