Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance Reliability team on Afternoon Shift or Night Shift. As an Australian owned company, we pride ourselves on producing some of the country's most loved products, including 'Up & Go', 'So Good', and 'Weet-Bix'.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and continuity of our factory, working independently and proactively on preventive maintenance schedules, attending breakdowns, and other assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and install mechanical equipment, including knowledge of pneumatic systems and engineering drawings.
  • Diagnose faults, production breakdowns, start-ups, and operating settings with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment and maintenance issues.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Fitter Trade Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
