Job Title: Movement Medicine Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Movement Medicine Specialist to join our team. As an integral member, you will play a pivotal role in promoting healthy lifestyles through evidence-based advice and treatment.

The successful candidate will work across various locations, providing expert guidance and support to clients in areas such as chronic disease prevention and management, health and fitness, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments of patients' exercise history and fitness levels, interpreting anthropometric data, and developing personalized plans for improvement
  • Designing and facilitating community exercise programs, with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility
  • Developing and delivering informative talks on health topics related to physical activity and exercise, tailored to diverse audiences
  • Traveling to service delivery locations and providing exceptional client care

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Accreditation through Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues alike
  • A current Driver's License and reliable vehicle, with a commitment to travel associated with the position
