Design Manager Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our city by delivering exceptional facilities, preserving and enhancing public spaces, promoting design excellence, and championing sustainability.

The Chief Operations Office Division is responsible for designing and constructing public buildings, infrastructure, parks, streetscapes, and public domain. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Manager (Landscape Architect) to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative urban landscape architectural and urban design projects
  • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, designers, and delivery teams on design and delivery solutions
  • Driving innovation and design quality on projects, while challenging project teams to obtain 'best value' throughout the project lifecycle

We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline, including registration or eligibility for registration as a member of the respective professional association
  • Experience in the design and delivery of complex landscape architectural or public domain projects
  • Great communication, collaboration, and time management skills, and the ability to reason critically
