We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our Krakow-based team. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with our engineering team to drive delivery within an Agile framework, translating business requirements into concise and clear technical user stories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct current state analysis and to-be impact analysis
  • Translate business requirements into technical user stories
  • Collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an Agile framework
  • Hands-on experience with BDD and testing
  • Good understanding of workflows and data-warehousing
  • Data analysis, mapping, and modeling
  • Uphold work ethos and principles established in the BA community
  • Work closely with the BA community and engineering team
  • Maintain a full and up-to-date understanding of the business and IT strategy, current practices, and system capabilities
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-up, planning, reviews)
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the financial industry
  • Understanding of investment banking products, PnL, Market, and Credit Risk
  • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, with experience in working in an Agile project and using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Solid understanding of complex IT systems landscape, with experience in defining interfaces and massaging protocols
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills
  • Experience of managing projects that span change across multiple systems and teams
  • Experience within Conduct or Regulatory would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization
  • Multitasking and Time Management Skills
