About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sydney Practice Support Professional to join our team at Allens Operations Pty Ltd.
As a key member of our Practice Support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our Partners and senior legal operatives in our Sydney office.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or other professional services organisation, and possess strong written communication skills, organisational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
You will work collaboratively with members within and outside of the Practice Support team to ensure a high quality of work and standards of services are delivered to all internal and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid working arrangements (60% in the office) and flexibility to support your work and life commitments. You will have access to market-competitive fixed remuneration ($85,000 - $105,000 per annum), generous incentive plan, and comprehensive benefits package.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide practice and client management support, including financial support, diary management, expense management, document management, and Learning Management System administration;
- Manage administrative client requirements to ensure consistent client service delivery across matter teams;
- Understand and interpret commercial drivers of a legal practice to apply client knowledge when supporting partners with practice management;
- Manage all administrative duties associated with the financials of a matter, including billing, e-billing audits, tracking of non-dispatched bills, missing timesheets, cost estimates, and reporting;
- Work collaboratively with members within and outside of the Practice Support team to deliver high-quality work and standards of services;
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or other professional services organisation;
- Strong written communication skills and organisational abilities;
- Problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an environment of continuous change;
- High degree of initiative, proactivity, and willingness to learn and grow;
- Strong influencing skills and ability to respectfully manage upwards with stakeholders;
- A desire to network and mentor others;
