We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher, as well as relevant experience working with people with challenging behaviours. They will also be required to hold a National Police Check Clearance, Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate.

Responsibilities will include following individual support plans, participating in community activities, and maintaining accurate records of client progress. The role requires flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans, and healthcare plans.
  • Participate in community activities within a Supported Independent Living environment.
  • Maintain and monitor a client's support plan whilst modelling a person-centred approach.
  • Identify and support a range of learning opportunities for our clients.
  • Observe and document an individual's progress and any changes through detailed note-keeping.
