Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to become an integral part of our team in Geelong. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of the Accounts Receivable department. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient processing and collection of patient accounts while guiding your team towards achieving financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Management: Supervise daily reconciliation of payments and ensure accurate processing of all financial transactions, including various payment methods.
- Billing Oversight: Evaluate daily billing reports, manage invoicing, and ensure timely follow-up on accounts.
- Aged Debtors Management: Analyze collection reports and oversee the collection processes for different debtor categories, adhering to financial protocols.
- Refund Processing: Monitor and manage refunds, maintaining the Refund Register and resolving any related issues effectively.
- Reporting Duties: Generate daily receipts reports, conduct bank reconciliations, and prepare monthly performance reports for the AR team.
- Customer Support: Assist staff and management with billing inquiries and address customer concerns promptly.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the AR team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Proven track record in team leadership and process enhancement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management skills to handle a consistent workload and meet deadlines.
- Effective planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
