Your New Role
This position is responsible for providing expert advice and solutions, determining material requirements, procurement, and scheduling for our Modular Building Construction business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Analyzing technical drawings and specifications to determine necessary materials and quantities.
- Ensuring materials meet performance standards and laws.
- Researching materials to provide advice and cost savings, obtaining competitive pricing.
- Processing purchase orders, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, resolving supply discrepancies and warranty claims.
What You Will Bring to the Role
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the building or construction industry.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with ERP systems, an understanding of building materials, familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, business ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of the modular building industry is preferred but not essential.
