Structural Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a Chartered Professional Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering to lead our team.

About the Role

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take on technical leadership and collaboration responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to oversee structural designs for various projects, including conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities along with general light and heavy industrial projects.

You will manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction phase support. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across the business.

About You

You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, with experience in the water and wastewater sector and general industrial structures.

You have developed a solid foundation in structural design, analysis, and documentation and are eager to step into a role with more technical responsibility and client interaction.

  • Proven experience in various aspects of structural engineering including study involvement, detailed design, analysis, and construction/commissioning phase support.
  • Experience delivering water and wastewater projects in accordance with Australian requirements.
  • Experience in the scoping and development of engineering work packages including time-based estimates for deliverables.
  • A working style that embraces collaboration with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise from across the business.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and career progression, with a desire to develop and mentor junior engineers.
