We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to take on the role of Associate Midwife Manager at Monash Health's Birth Suite and Pregnancy Assessment Unit (PAU) based at Clayton.
This is a fixed-term opportunity to experience and rotate through a leadership position, working across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and Night Duty.
About the TeamOur leadership team is passionate about providing safe, women-centered care across the full scope of maternity care. We are a collaborative service across Monash Women's, and our Maternity services have opportunities to grow and provide women-centered care.
We work within a team model of care, providing our women and their families with a consistency across their journey.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:
- Proven experience working in an Acute Maternity service and demonstrated skills and knowledge in antenatal/postnatal and birth suite as a minimum.
- Driven and value consistent quality improvement across the service, with creative ideas and passion to implement across the service.
- FSEP level 3 certification.
Monash Health is a leading health service in Victoria, providing care to women with high-risk and complex pregnancies. Our Maternity Ward fosters a multidisciplinary environment, where midwives collaborate with lactation consultants, physiotherapists, and specialists to care for high-risk antenatal women.
We prioritize women and family-centered care, with expanded facilities, including Birth Suites and Pregnancy Assessment areas.
