Job Summary:

This is a dynamic and demanding role that requires a high level of physical fitness.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate cleanliness and maintenance requirements for hotel rooms.
  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms to a high standard.
  • Direct work and suggest equipment replacement as necessary.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency in daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of room status and supply levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry large bags of linen and restock clean linen.
  • Service and clean hotel rooms for check-in and check-out.
  • Check supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys regularly.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies in room status or inventory.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working in a similar position within a 4-5 star hotel (advantageous).
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to identify recurring cleaning issues.
  • Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Friendly and positive attitude.
  • Able to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues.
  • The flexibility to work weekends.
